3Dator supply sources

Get a list of the required components here: BOM Many parts can be bought online via aliexpress or ebay.

Alternatively wood (e.g. HDF) can be used instead of Plexiglass. The panels can be cnc milled or laser cut. We're also selling the laser cut Plexiglass/Acrylic panels in our online store.

You can find other parts in our online shop too.

The printed parts can again either be bought from us ur printed yourself. For getting help printing the parts, visit the next Fablab or Makerspace. What to pay attention at when printing the parts is descibed in the next section.

3Dator print the parts

Alle the parts are designed to print withoug support material. The layers should be 0.2 mm at maximum and the nozzle needs to be 0.6 mm or smaller.

Before printing your parts make sure your printer prints orthogonal and with the correct dimensions. We strongly advise printing all the parts in PETG. Try to print as hot as possible so layers will fuse together better. 20% infill and 3 (or 1.5 mm) perimeters will give your parts enough stability and material to drill the holes to a nice fit.

Building the 3Dator

Now only the build process is missing. You can find all the steps described in our Assembly guide.
